Research
- Basic research on crop water use, including variations stemming from drilling vs. row-planting, maturity lengths, etc. Physiological impact from drought and water-logging stress.
Extension
- Increase Missouri irrigators yield level by educating growers on proper irrigation scheduling, fertigation techniques, and other stratagems. Develop tools and educational material to help achieve these goals. Document current data regarding irrigation and monitor changes that can be attributed to extension education efforts.
