The University Extension Water Quality Education Program empowers citizens to conserve, protect and improve ground and surface water by targeting non-point source pollution prevention through a comprehensive approach to watershed management.
The Extension Water Quality Program works with dozens of communities in Missouri to form watershed management groups. In cooperation with the Extension Water Quality team, these groups develop strategies and best management practices for their local water supplies.
Missouri Watershed Information Network (MoWIN): a web-based source for county and watershed information. MoWIN was established by a multi-agency advisory group to provide basic information and knowledge about watershed issues and contacts for Missouri citizens.
The Groundwater Foundation is dedicated to informing the public about one of our greatest hidden resources, groundwater. They make learning about groundwater fun and understandable for kids and adults.
